“One day shall come a steed, strong and full of wonders.

It shall make the city’s name live on forever.”

A mortal's lifetime, from birth to death, was simply not longer than a strum of the strings on Apollo's lyre, but an undying song of the unsung hero, Hector of Troy, always lingered in his memory. From the day they met, Hector was different from other humans he knew.

Once the Golden Apple dropped, the god of truth, music and prophecy like Apollo knew better than to ignore the chances of Hector’s fatal fate as
the Trojan War came close to the very end.

No one could overrule the Fates in assigning one’s destiny. However, even with the tiniest shard of hope, he would try to change it.

This captivating Greek mythology retelling novel interestingly explores the tales from the Trojan side in Homer's Iliad and charmingly illustrates the heartstrings between the immortal god and the mortal prince of Troy through the eyes of Apollo.

What reader says

What could be more heart-wrenching than the tragic fate of the Trojans and the god of Olympus?

I was in tears from the opening to the closing of the story.

Hardly stop to take a breath at all.

All the characters were so realistic that I felt goosebumps.

This is a book that I want to re-read again next year as well.
