Ten years have passed his thriving as well.
His heart and soul remain even if we're apart.

Ten years after an unfortunate event that Itthi believed had left the worst impression on Kulawat – the senior student he admired, they met again in an unexpected place.

Kulawat becomes a pharmacist and drug store owner where Itthi – now a drained-out freelance graphic artist - has to get his grandma’s chronic diabetes medicine refilled. Kulawat is still the same gentle and charming person that Itthi knows, but he feels there is something different. The more they open up, the more they learn about each other’s hopes, dreams, struggles, family expectations, and even their once-closeted fears. Above everything, they gradually learn to love themselves and embrace their present and past.

The old ember rekindles, the hand of the lost love is reaching out and waiting for him to hold, so Itthi has to decide whether he pursues this second chance or runs away again.

This heart-warming novel explores not only the relationship of two young men but also the close-knitted relationship between the members of a Thai-Chinese family and the ordinary people living in a quiet neighborhood of Bangkok.

What reader says

10 out of 10.

A warm slice of life novel, I felt so good after reading it.

As the story gradually developed, the two slowly fell in love. There was also a mental illness issue that fit the theme of taking care of the heart. I felt the story was very relatable because the setting was in Bangkok and it was portraying the life of ordinary middle-class urbanites.

This book helped me feel refreshing and sparked a fire to a withered life of an office worker like me. Very good.
